It is through the partnerships and support from you, our valued talent and clients, that Medix has the ability to take our core purpose of positively impacting lives and make a difference in our communities as well.
Medix is excited to lock arms with many philanthropies on a national and local basis. Throughout the years, Medix has grown a fondness for military organizations, and two of our favorites have quickly became Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors (JAH4WW) and Camp Hometown Heroes.
Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors
For the past four years, Medix has been a proud sponsor and partner of JAH4WW, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance and support to United States military veterans by building handicap accessible homes to suit their individual needs.
Medix has had the opportunity to sponsor such annual events as the Helping Heroes Night Ops Golf Tournament and the Helping Heroes Gala, as well as participate firsthand in assisting with some of the home renovations the organization is conducting.
It has been an amazing opportunity to witness the lives of our nation’s wounded vets being positively impacted and partner with such a fantastic organization so aligned with Medix’s Core Purpose. For more information on the cause, visit www.homesforwoundedwarriors.com.
Camp Hometown Heroes
In 2015, Medix learned about a camp in Wisconsin that helps another in-need military population – the children who were left behind. Camp Hometown Heroes is a free week-long overnight summer camp for children and younger siblings (ages seven through 17) of fallen U.S. service members. Camp Hometown Heroes reminds these children they are not alone by providing an atmosphere where they can bond with their peers who understand their loss firsthand.
After learning about Camp Hometown Heroes and everything it believed in, the Medix team jumped enthusiastically at the chance of raising money and awareness for the cause. We’re happy to still be able to partner with them for fundraising events and various awareness campaigns, and we’re excited to continue the relationship for years to come.
