For one special week every September, the American Staffing Association’s National Staffing Employee Week celebrates the contributions of the millions of individuals employed by U.S. staffing agencies. In numerous industries and countless workplaces across the country, these professionals make a difference day-in and day-out through their commitment to meaningful work and building great teams.

In honor of National Staffing Employee Week 2019, Medix teammates got in touch with some of our talent who are making a positive impact as a part of the growing staffing workforce. Here’s what they had to say about the work they do, and the difference that being a staffing employee has made in their careers:

“I enjoy the work I do because it allows me to serve and address the health care issues facing vulnerable populations by ensuring the maintenance of their safety, overall health and well-being while living in the community.” – Charlotte, Nurse Case Manager

What I love most about my work is the ability for me to put together data from multiple data sources and visualize them in a meaningful way for marketing leaders to see business trends and make impactful decisions that drive future outcomes.” – Wayne, Analytics Product Coordinator

“I would highly recommend working with a staffing firm. The entire process was convenient, the transition was smooth and landing a job this time around was overall stress free!” – Youstina, Specimen Processor

“I would recommend working through staffing firms to students just out of college because they are able to do a lot of the heavy lifting for you when searching for a job.” – Erin, Laboratory Technician

Thank you to Charlotte, Wayne, Youstina and Erin for sharing your staffing stories, and to all of the talent doing incredible work as staffing employees!
