Community
Involvement

We positively impact lives with jobs and with generosity.

Giving back is not something we do occasionally. At Medix, it’s a cherished routine that shapes our days.

20,000 Kids
Shortly after Medix was founded in 2001, our commitment to whole-hearted community service was born.

Our philanthropic arm invests in and supports young people in various ways nationwide.

Our vision for 20,000 Kids is to provide children who are at risk or are in need with resources that have a powerful, positive impact on their lives.

Whether it’s safety, housing, nourishment, technology or education, we partner with outstanding nonprofit leaders and innovators to provide much needed support to children today so they can be the sought-after talent businesses rely upon tomorrow.

“In Denver, we volunteered with the Special Olympics at their field day for elementary school kids. It was amazing to come together as a Medix team and help out with such a special day for so many wonderful kiddos! To see them smiling and having fun, despite any different abilities they may have, was such a wonderful gift.”

Mentorship

At Medix, we are experts in all things employment.

We know how to coach people to reach for and achieve their professional goals. These are skills we eagerly share in local communications by hosting professional development workshops and giving our workforce experts the time to volunteer with mentorship organization we’re passionate about, such as Love is in the Bag, Lurie’s Children, Camp Hometown Heroes, and Special Olympics.

We know that the more we do today to support skill growth and personal achievement today, the stronger the workforce of tomorrow will be for everyone.

“My experience attending and participating in the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago’s CHASE Your Dreams workshop was incredible. My role in the workshop was to discuss how to prepare for an interview, specifically the dos and don’ts, and what steps to take afterwards. The kids made me feel a strong hope for our future. Not only in the healthcare field, not only in the city of Chicago, but for this generation in total.”

Community Service

Medix is committed to giving our local market teams time to volunteer in their communities.

We know that strong, connected communities produce strong talent pools that business can draw from and rely on.

You will see Medix team members volunteering in numerous ways in the cities and towns where we work.

From supporting Special Olympics events and teams to supplying food pantries and fundraisers for local hospitals, we have literally given back to hundreds of different causes and look forward to giving more every year.
