Medix Announces Four Winners of Annual Talentomorrow Talent Scholarship

(Oak Brook, IL) Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2026 — Medix, an industry-leading healthcare and life sciences staffing company, announced the four winners of its annual Talent Scholarship, awarded through its philanthropic foundation, Talentomorrow.

The Talent Scholarship provides financial support to professionals who demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning, leadership, and positively impacting lives through their work. 

The 2026 recipients are Courtney Figgers, Samuel Barber Kanu, LauRen Gaines, and Sandra Moore.

“Being selected as a Talentomorrow Talent Scholar recognizes both the work I’ve accomplished and my potential for continued growth,” Courtney Figgers said. “This scholarship will help lessen the financial burden of completing my degree while allowing me to stay focused on building a career centered on leadership, service and improving outcomes for others.”

“Medix has supported my continued growth in healthcare, from oncology nursing to women’s health as I complete my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in Nurse-Midwifery,” LauRen Gaines said. “Each opportunity has strengthened my clinical skills and brought me closer to my goal of becoming a Certified Nurse-Midwife.”
