Benefits

In order to qualify for benefits, we require that you work full-time (30+) hours in your first four weeks of work on assignment in order to qualify in your fifth week of work. Please note that the hours are automatically calculated, and if 120 hours are not reached by the end of week four, you will not qualify for benefits.

Benefit eligible talent will be covered no sooner than 60 days into their assignment. Please note, the effective date of Medical insurance can vary depending on the plan you may choose. Please read in full the Medix Eligibility email you will receive in your fifth week of work after becoming eligible. This email includes detailed information on the effective dates of our offered plans.

Benefits will terminate the first Thursday corresponding with your final Medix paycheck. However, if you’re enrolled in one of our three Major Medical plans, these specific plans will terminate on the final day of the month that corresponds with your final paycheck.

Unfortunately, Medix benefits are for talent that work full-time hours in their first four consecutive weeks on assignment. Outside of Medix you’re able to view your options through the Healthcare Marketplace at www.HealthCare.gov.

Onboarding Paperwork

You can use a desktop, laptop, or computer to complete the forms. Google Chrome works the best on all three.

Most of the forms will expire after 3 days if not completed. We suggest filling out your onboarding paper within 24 hours of receiving.

If the forms expire, please contact your recruiter to send new forms.

You will need to upload two forms of ID for the I9 document, so you should have those close by! If your new role requires a certification/license, or health screens, you will also need to upload any proof of those in Able. We also recommend having your bank information available while completing the forms if you want to opt into Direct Deposit.

Once your paperwork has been completed and processed, you will be moved to compliance.

You should contact your Onboarding Specialist, or you can call the onboarding hotline at (312) 487-5865.

Compliance

1-3 business days on average

On average, 1-5 business days from when the sample is given.

Typically in 3-5 business days once you have gone to the clinic.

Payroll – PTO & Leave

Once time off has been approved by the onsite Supervisor/Manager, you will want to submit the dates requested into Aha! so your recruiter is aware. You are able to enter your PTO onto your timesheet on the date of your choice. If you are having issues or do not see any PTO or Sick Time or it’s accrued incorrectly, please reach out to payroll1@medixteam.com

If you’re under Medix PTO policy, you are able to use PTO in 4 or 8 hour increments. If you work in a state with its own Sick Time Laws, we will always follow those policies and you can submit in 1 hr increments.

You can look at your balance in Aha! If you have any issues with viewing the balances, please email payroll1@medixteam.com

Medix offers best-in-class benefits to our talent, including paid sick leave that aligns with state and local regulations.

Yes! Medix will always defer to the state’s policy if there is one unless Medix’s policy is better than the state’s (giving more time). Please note that the state policy won’t be in addition to the Medix policy, but rather, the state’s policy would override Medix’s (i.e. you won’t have two separate PTO banks).

Please reach out to your recruiter to determine if the client you are working for offers holiday pay.

No, recruiters are unable to enter hours on the backend. You should be adding your own time for approval. If you need assistance please reach out to payroll1@medixteam.com

We do not have a bereavement pay policy at this time. We encourage you to utilize any available PTO to cover this time should you wish to do so.

You can view your paystubs in Aha! In the My Pay section, click on “Pay Stubs”.

Talent Experience Surveys

You will be sent a talent experience survey 2 weeks after starting your assignment and again 45 days into your assignment. These surveys help us to assure you are having the best experience while working with Medix.

MyPrint is Medix’s proprietary soft skills assessment.
