(Seattle) August 24, 2021 – Medix, a national organization specialized in workforce solutions and recruiting skilled personnel for clients in the Healthcare, Life Sciences, Engineering & Construction, and Technology industries, was named a recipient of the Northwest Association for Biomedical Research (NWABR) 2021 Alvin J. Thompson Award.

The Northwest Association for Biomedical Research is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening public trust in research. The Alvin J. Thompson Award is awarded annually to reflect the recipient’s high standing in the life science community with engagement in cutting edge research alongside a commitment to ethical research practices.
In 2021, the board of NWABR decided to present its Alvin J. Thompson Award to the entire Biomedical Research community in the northwest region of the United States. This award is being presented in this manner to recognize the pivotal role that researchers and institutions have played as they have focused their efforts on the Coronavirus pandemic.
